アドボカシー（権利擁護）実践のフィールドワークや法学研究者との共同研究を基に、新たな時代に求められるソーシャルワーク実践モデルを追究していきたいと考えている。主な関心領域は、①アドボカシー、苦情解決、サービス評価等利用者主体のサービス実現に必要なシステム構築、②地域を基盤としたソーシャルワークと住民参加の方法論、③事業所の特性に応じた福祉マネジメントなどである。
