    Hojo-Dansui is known for his encyclopedic exhibition of knowledge with citations from various sources, but the way of quotation is not arbitrary but very thematic. With Honcho-chie-kagami, however, this is not true. There his pedantries are often desultory and even getting nowhere. Here reading Shindo-meimoku-ruijyu-sho which is one of its source books, I will trace the process of discursive decentralization in the text.
