This study investigated the effect of the following pre-tasks on writing fluency: 1) task repetition (repeating the same writing task twice), 2) task types (a. outline only, b. outline + oral rehearsal, c. pre-reading + outline), 3) interaction effect between personality traits (extroverted and introverted) and task types. The finding was that there was a significant difference in the total number of words between the pretest and posttest, each of which was conducted at the beginning and the end of the semester, respectively. However, the task repetition, the type of pre-tasks, and personality traits did not have a significant impact on improving the writing fluency of single writing task.
