  • グローバル資本主義とジェンダーの視点から都市空間を捉えることに関心を寄せている。これまでは、フィリピン・マニラ首都圏のスクオッター集落でフィールド調査を行ない、主に女性の労働と移動、住民組織活動について考察してきた。近年は、マニラにおける産業立地の変化と不均等発展、女性の労働・居住の変容について、フィールド・データとマクロ統計をはじめとする文献・資料に基づきながら調査・研究を行なっている。
