      今年度も、引き続き近世の古語辞書『雅言集覧』が後世（特に現代）の古語辞書に与えた影響を調査・考察している。今期は特に、『栄花物語』の用例がどのように扱われてきたか？という点を指標として導入し、学会発表および投稿論文にまとめることができた。
      『雅言集覧』には大量の古代語用例が収められており、『栄花物語』用例も散見される。『雅言集覧』は、編者・石川雅望のライフワークであった『源氏物語』研究の成果を中心にまとめられた書物であるが、『源氏物語』の用例をすべて並べた上で不足分を他作品で補うというわけでもなく、『源氏物語』を含めた古典用例がどのような意図で集められたのかということは未解明である。『雅言集覧』に収められた用例は近代以降の辞書の用例にも大きな影響を与えたことが知られており、現行の古語辞書類にも『栄花物語』の用例は一定数見られることから、近世以来の辞書における『栄花物語』の扱いを確認しておくことには大きな意義があるのである。
      結果として、「規模の差はあれ現代の水準と同レベルの分析を『雅言集覧』が行っていた」ということ点が指摘できる。そして、その中で『栄花物語』は確実に意味のある用例を提供していることが分かった。その際に、先行する近世辞書『倭訓栞』の存在が『雅言集覧』の編纂方針に影響を与えている可能性が浮かび上がった。編纂過程を示す資料がほとんど残されていないため、具体的な編纂過程が見えにくい『雅言集覧』であるが、扱われている用例をさぐることで、今ある資料の中でも編纂の階層性が垣間見えることが主張できた。
      また、別途、現代辞書『古典基礎語辞典』（大野晋編）との対照を進めている。『雅言集覧』の影響下には無いと考えられる現代辞書の知見から『雅言集覧』を再評価することで、用例や語釈に示された特徴を紀要雑誌に記することができた。
