  • 教会音楽、特にグレゴリオ聖歌を源とするカトリック典礼音楽と、16-18世紀ドイツ・ルター派の礼拝音楽について、演奏者（オルガン奏者）の立場から研究している。楽曲分析、記譜法研究を手掛かりに、作曲家・音楽作品への理解を深め、演奏実践へと繋げたいと考えている。またホスピス緩和ケア領域における音楽療法の実践を通して「人間にとって音楽はどのような意味を持つのか」という問いに日々向き合っている。

      2019年度は、校訂譜の再検討、筆写譜の現地調査、成果発表の機会としてレクチャーコンサートの開催を予定し、準備を進めた。
      [研究代表者・米沢陽子] ザムエル・シャイト『カンツィオネス・サクレ』のうち、Nr. 6 O Domine Jesu Christe SSWV6、Nr. 10 Duo Seraphim SSWV10、Nr. 11 Gelobet seystu Jesu Christ SSWV11、Nr. 17 Gott der Vater wohn uns bey SSWV17、Nr. 20 Prima pars: Tulerunt Dominum: Prima pars SSWV20、Nr. 21 Secunda pars: Cum ergo fleret: Secunda pars SSWV21、Nr. 24 Prima pars: Richte mich Gott: Prima pars SSWV24、Nr. 25 Secunda pars: Sende dein Liecht: Secunda pars SSWV25、Nr. 27 Lobet den Heren, er ist sehr Freundlich SSWV27、Nr. 33 Zion spricht der Herr hat mich SSWV33、Nr. 34 Quaerite primum SSWV34、Nr. 38 Lobet den Herren in seinem SSWV37 以上、12曲の校訂作業を行い、校訂譜を作成した。校訂譜に基づき、楽曲分析を行ったところ、不協和音を斬新に、しかも効果的に使用している箇所が見つかった。シャイトの作風は保守的であり、作曲上、あまり大胆な和声付けはしないと捉えていたが、この最初期の声楽作品において、若きシャイトが和声に関する果敢な試みをしていることがわかり、収穫であった。このような和音の使用は同時代のシュッツがそうであるように、歌詞との関係によるものであることも確認できた。
      [研究分担者・大角欣矢] ドレスデン国立図書館、ベルリン国立図書館において『コンチェルトゥス・サクリ』筆写譜の現地調査を行った。また上記12曲の歌詞対訳および楽曲分析を行ない、レクチャーコンサートのための曲目解説執筆、講演準備を行った。
      [研究協力者・サリクス・カンマーコア]レクチャーコンサートのリハーサルを4回実施し、この作品を「神々しい響き」であると評価した。

      Samuel Scheidt (1587-1654) is sometimes referred to as “the father of German organ music.” The purpose of this research is to reevaluate him as a composer by examining his choral composition “Cantiones Sacrae” (1620). The following methods were employed: (1) digitization of “Complete works of Samuel Scheidt, Vol. 4” (1933); (2) examination and digitization of hand-written manuscripts; (3) creation of a bilingual edition (German to Japanese); (4) analysis, focusing on “Vater unser im Himmelreich” and “Christe, der du bist Tag und Licht”; (5) creation of performance editions; (6) performance and recording of the music based on the performance editions; and (7) research on how the music has been passed on. There are plans to release items 3 through 6 online.
