Research Theme*
映画研究として、小津安二郎のサイレント映画を扱いながら、1920年代や1930年代に映画がローカル（日本）およびグローバルな文脈で持っていた意味を考えています。ここから映画美学や経験をキーワードに、20世紀前半から中盤というより大きな歴史的スパンのなかで日本映画や世界の映画について研究しています。またメディアの経験という論点から、テレビ、アニメ、ミュージックヴィデオなど、より身近にわたしたちを取り巻くメディアについても分析しています。
