  • 経営組織論を専門としており、組織における権力現象とポリティクスに関する理論的研究、企業の創造的能力と経営組織のあり方に関する理論的・実証的研究が現在の研究課題である。既存の学説に関する批判的検討を踏まえて、経営者のあり方、企業組織のデザイン、従業員の創造的活動との関連に焦点を当てて調査、分析を試みている。主な業績として「21世紀型中小企業と我が国中小企業の組織革新─中同協『企業変革支援プログラム』Step1回答企業に関する分析─」(『企業環境研究年報』第18号、2013年)「資源依存パースペクティヴに見る権力研究の理論的課題:批判的解釈理論からの検討」(『組織科学』第45巻3号、2012年)、「従業員の創造的活動と組織デザイン」(『立教ビジネスレビュー』第3号、2010年)など。

      The purpose of this paper is to elucidate modern production systems in which coordination and control among companies have become widespread globally. In particular, the authors aim to test the Global Value Chain (GVC) governance theory empirically with a focus on the state of Apple’s GVC governance. More specifically, the authors attempt to determine whether the relationships theoretically explained in Gereffi, Humphrey and Sturgeon (2005) can be observed in Apple’s GVC and contribute toward understanding Apple’s state of coordination. This study shows the state of coordination in Apple’s GVC does not necessarily correspond to the theoretical types. Simply put, the three determinants do not reflect the state of coordination in Apple’s GVC. This paper adopts augmenting and complementary explanations from the resource-dependence perspective to elucidate Apple’s GVC governance by empirically illustrating how Apple’s GVC governance are achieved through the accompanying asymmetric power relationships between the company and its suppliers.

      Morale issues are considered to be a major factor in preventing realization of organizational reforms. Employees' morale during the organizational reform is known to depend upon trust in their management. A previous study has indicated that trust can be estimated as a function of the type of organizational changes, the category/size of the business, the employees' job position and gender. To the best of our knowledge, few studies have quantitatively clarified the relationship between trust and the employees' morale. Our previous study has developed a multi-agent simulation model to demonstrate the change of employees' states as well as formulating a total employees' morale during organizational reform. This study modified the model to show how sensitively the employees react to CEO's behavior when the combination of the types of organizational changes varies.

      Abstract— Employees' morale is known to depend upon the
      trust in their management and to have a significant effect on the possibility that organizational change or innovation will be successful. This study first formulates a total employees’ morale associated with organizational reform and then develops a simulation model for visualising how employees’ (psychological)
      state changes during organizational reform or innovation.
      Numerical examples are also presented to demonstrate the behaviour of the employees’ states after the manager offers the plan with respect to the new organizational design.

      【内容】現代企業においてイノベーションは組織横断的な協働を通じて実現される課題にほかならない.それゆえにイノベーションの成否に関して組織における諸個人の協働行為の調整と組織化のパターンとしての組織デザインが問題となる.今年度の研究において,(1)今日の日本企業について組織としてのイノベーションの創出と実現に資する組織デザインを明らかにした.その際,組織の有効性は組織の構成要素間の相互補完的関係の形成に依存するという補完性研究に基づき,組織化形態の補完的パターンを特定しそれらとイノベーションの関係を検証した.続いて(2)そうした組織化形態の導入のパターンと経営に対する信頼との関係を検証し,さらに(3)イノベーションに向けた組織的協働の促進には組織デザインの変革が支持され経営に対する信頼が確保される必要があるという仮説的認識に基づき,組織化形態導入のパターンと組織のイノベーションとの関係における経営に対する信頼による媒介作用の検証を行った.
      【意義・重要性】分析の結果より,「補完的組織化」について相互補完性による作用が確認された.このことから,組織化形態が個別に導入されることは一定の効果を及ぼし得るが,組織化形態の間に相互補完的関係が形成されるよう組織をデザインすることは,組織としての積極的なイノベーション活動を促し,イノベーション能力を高め,イノベーションの成果を増加させ,それを継続させるうえでより大きな効果を及ぼすと考えられる.また,分析の結果より,経営に対する信頼を確保することで組織変革に伴うモラール問題を克服しうることや,イノベーション実現につながる活動の促進という点では,組織デザインとともに経営に対する信頼が重要な役割を果たすことも確認された.組織変革に際して,そうした変革それ自体が経営に対する信頼を獲得し得るものでなければ,変革の有効性は発揮し得ないと考えられる.

      This study aims for development of human resource management system in service industries.We performed theoretical review and performed a qualitative and quantitative research afterwards.As a result, we were able to identify the ability of integrated organization in service industry. In addition, we identified a human resource administration measure or duties design to promote the above-mentioned characteristic.Furthermore, we made clear that we were observed in the Japanese company where this discovery fact went into abroad.
