  • 途上国の経済開発を研究テーマとする。従来の経済成長一辺倒の理論的枠組みではなく、民主主義、平和、環境、ジェンダーなどを取り入れた開発経済学の再構築を主な研究活動としている。対象地域は、アジアであるが、第三世界全体も視野に入れて研究している。
